Kelly Hatton | Early Careers Delivery Lead
Kelly is an Early Careers Delivery Lead at Telstra, and is responsible for creating an amazing employee experience for Graduate and Summer Vacation Interns. In her role Kelly works within the business to source rewarding work opportunities for graduates and interns to develop capabilities in their early stages of their career pathway. A huge part of Kelly’s role is also to coach and support the cohort through their programs. Kelly has been in and out of Telstra for over 29 years and worked in many parts of the business through her time. Kelly is extremely passionate about Diversity, Inclusion and Equality. Apart from supporting the future talent for Telstra, Kelly is also raising her own tribe of 3 daughters.
Jeddi Kyne | Capability Analyst and Product Manager in Enterprise
First joining Telstra via the 2021 Summer Vacationer program, Jeddi comes from a background in Commerce and Business Information Systems. He is now completing the 2021 Graduate program in the Product & Service design pathway, where he has worked as a Capability Analyst and Product Manager in Enterprise. Outside of work Jeddi is a piano teacher, photographer, and start-up enthusiast, who also tries to bite into Melbourne’s amazing food offerings in between.
Amala Priya Shankar | Graduate Technology Specialist
Amala began her career as a graduate in the technology consulting and solution pathway at Telstra, and she recently completed a year into the graduate program. She is from Bangalore, India and came to Melbourne to pursue her post-graduate studies. Having been born with a disability, Amala has never felt constrained and believes the sky is the limit. Not only is she passionate about diversity and inclusion at the workplace, but she also helps people with disability needs and empowers everyone to believe in their fullest potential.
Harley Sands | IoT Domain Engineering Chapter Lead
Harley joined Telstra in 2016 as a Graduate Engineer after completing his Master’s of Electrical Engineering at The University of Melbourne. Over the past 5 years Harley has contributed to building Telstra’s portfolio of IoT Solutions for Australia’s biggest enterprises and some global organisations. Harley currently has a hybrid role at Telstra, functioning both as IoT Domain Engineering Chapter Lead where his focus is developing the skills and careers of his team of talented engineers including the next generation of graduates, as well as Locate and Monitor Technical Product Owner, where he has technology and delivery accountability for Telstra’s Enterprise-grade “Location of Things” platform.
Vincent Wong | Graduate Network Engineering Specialist
Vincent is a Graduate Network Engineering Specialist in the Wireless Hardware Introduction team at Telstra. He tests and verifies compliance of novel network equipment, providing assurance for continuous improvement of the network. He also worked on the continuous deployment of 5G software for base transceiver stations.
Previously, he worked on the $2.3 billion High Capacity Metro Train (HCMT) Project as the design and testing engineer responsible for the Gangway & Coupler subsystem, interfacing with Chinese designers, Swedish and Australian builders.
Vincent serves as the Treasurer of the Australian Cost Engineering Society (ACES) Victorian Chapter, a technical society of Engineers Australia.
